South African chrome exports increased in January 2023

In January 2023, the export volume of chrome ore in South Africa was 1,347,900 tons, a month-on-month increase of 280,900 tons, a month-on-month increase of 26.33% and a year-on-year increase of 2.17% (January 2022:1,319,300 tons). The export to China was 713,100 tons, accounting for 52.9% of the total; Exports to Mozambique: 575,000 tons, accounting for 42.66% of the total.
